With Album DS you get an application for Windows or Mac that is not just a collection of templates, masks or actions but an easy to use integrated Photoshop Dashboard for designing albums, collages, senior products and anything else you can dream up where you wish to combine multiple photos and/or text.

The current version is 6.5 and it has evolved from a small utility to help with design in Photoshop to a complete feature rich software solution ready to be used with Photoshop CS through CS5. Album DS even works with 64 bit versions of Photoshop.

Album DS works on Macintosh and Windows operating systems and you will need the full version of Adobe Photoshop CS or higher (CS2 or higher recommended, Album DS is not compatible with Photoshop Elements). You have the choice of working at full resolution with Album DS or our scaled mode (72 ppi) if you've got an older system, but either way Album DS will generate full resolution designs that will work with any lab or album maker in the world that are scaleable to different sizes and aspect ratios even after you've completed your design.

Of course if you have a wide screen monitor or even better a dual monitor system you will be able to enlarge the Album DS work area and even place Album DS on one monitor and Photoshop on the other. This makes work more comfortable because album sheets are large and you can see more details. Although bigger is better Album DS can operate just fine with a screen of 1024 pixels width.
