Yes, you get support and updates, FOR FREE Album DS includes one full year of technical support and product updates which happen several times throughout the year. Updates can contain new templates, backgrounds, clipart and other elements and even full version upgrades are included as long as they are released during your support period.
Support requests are always answered promptly usually within a few minutes but always within 24 hours and we even have the ability to remotely control your computer with your permission in order to help you faster should it be necessary. We want you to spend time working on fantastic albums and not frustrated with reaching support :).
And all this is for free during the first year after your purchase (6 months for additional licenses)
But... what happens once this year has finished? Well, for a very low annual fee you may renew the updates/support contract and continue enjoying our support and update services for another year or you may continue using the version you already have. Album DS won't stop working just because your support contract is up. The updates/support contract is $99 per year plus any applicable taxes and covers up to 3 licenses. This price also includes new templates, backgrounds, masks, etc that we release during this year. Please understand that we can not offer unlimited lifetime downloads or support and updates for free, and we recommend that you create a backup of any downloaded files onto a DVD or other permanent media. This protects you should the worst happen and you experience a drive failure you only have to reinstall the software from your backup and continue working again.
If you need to re-download the software from our server you will need to have an up to date support contract, we only keep the last version on our servers. If you've let your support/updates contract lapse, don't worry you may purchase the "Outdated Support & Updates" at any time to bring your system up to date with the latest shipping version and support going forward.
Buying a new computer, no problem Should your company need to do a system or drive upgrade it's no problem, just contact us BEFORE you make a switch and we'll help you deactivate on your old system and reactivate on your new system. Again your support contract must be valid for this service but we're happy to help.
